In a place where summer is so long and scorching as Shanghai, it’s always amazingly pleasant to pack up all the crop tops and flower dresses in the closet, and give room to tartan trousers and cozy sweaters. We’ve gathered a lovely variety of photos that are the perfect inspiration for how to dress at our Vintage Winter Fest, vintage outfits and little things that reminded us of both adventurous trips into the snowy woods, and of lazy Sunday evenings by the fireplace.

Our Pinterest board is also filled with photos of outfits that we loved, including the classic “Ice Queen” look (see our Mont Blanc inspirational moodboard for details) and the rebellious “Tartan Punk” for those of us who are just in love with Vivienne Westwood’s or Alexander McQueen’s original mixes of gorgeous clothes.

These are the textures and materials that make up our winter mood: rebellious tartan, playful faux fur, heart-warming wool, faded jeans. If you add a vagabond and DIY attitude, some elflike little things, or a glimmering make up suitable for a frozen-eyelashed Ice Queen, that's the right way to wander through our five floors of wonders at the Winter Fest. And don't forget your ukulele.
